Proposed Charity Day

I'm organising a New Members day walk on March 28 th 2010.  This walk is on the Dramway taking in local places of history the walk is an easy level walk and is 7 mile or can be split into 4miles and 3 if you want a shorter distance. It is proposed that we all make a donation, to my chosen charity, for this years new members day walk.  Ideally I would like to suggest £5 per head on the day although any amount would be great. So I leave that decision to you.

We will be issuing a sponsor form in the near future, if you think you can raise money by this means persons raising £10 by sponsorship can walk the walk for free.

The New members day has been running a few years now and always takes place at this time of the year, spring is upon us and people start to think about getting out and about. Primarily this day is about introducing new people to the group, meeting new members and old members as well. The entry fee is not compulsory, but a small amount in the form of a donation would be appreciated by the charity Pauls place.

If you have reasons to object to making a donation we totally accept that and still look forward to seeing you on the walk anyway for free.
